The elliptical design of the Sky Factory Elliptical Luminous SkyCeiling allows it to be designed in proportion to the room. They provide a striking alternative to more conventional rectangular shapes. Elliptical Luminous SkyCeilings come in a range of standard sizes with the following nominal dimensions: 5’ x 9’, 6’ x 8’, 6’ x 10’, 8’ x 12’, 9’ x 12’. These sizes are designed to create an aesthetically integrated presentation.
How Elliptical Luminous SkyCeilings Work
1. Lighting Systems
Standard T5 fluorescent, or optional Sky Factory RFfreeLux™ LED lighting systems provide daylight quality light, and require 12 inches of vertical clearance.
2. Image Tiles
Sky Factory Luminous SkyTiles™ are translucent, high-resolution, photographic reproductions on acrylic panels that convey the color, scale and perspective of actual sky.
3. Elevators
Patented Sky Factory SkyTile Elevators™ hold SkyTiles above the grid, creating a robust structural appearance, like a real skylight.
4. Ceiling Grid
Custom perimeter and suspended ceiling grid system provided.
